Mental Health Resources

Emotional or physical stress is your body’s way of telling you it’s time to rest and refocus.

What is mental health?

A person’s mental health includes their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Your mental health affects how you think, feel, act, make choices, and relate to others.

How can a daily check-in with yourself help?

Taking just a few minutes each day to assess your mental state can help you become more self-aware and help you easily notice behaviors or feelings that may not be normal for you.

Here are a few physical and emotional responses that can be common to everyone:

  • Feelings of fear, anger, sadness, worry, numbness, or frustration
  • Changes in appetite, energy, desires, and interests
  • Trouble concentrating and making decisions
  • Inconsistent sleep patterns or insomnia
  • Physical reactions, such as headaches, body pains, stomach problems, or skin rashes
  • Worsening of chronic health problems and mental health conditions
  • Increased use of alcohol, drugs, and other substances
